How can I book?

It's easy! First you have to select an offer in the booking engine or from our show wheel. Then enter your desired dates, the required number of rooms and the number of travelers and confirm the indication by the search box. Then you will get a list of all the available hotels. To make it easier to find the perfect hotel for you, you can sort the list by distance from the hotel to the park, by the Hotel Category (suns) or by rate. The price offered is the final price.
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. Movie Park Germany Services GmbH will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, Movie Park Germany Services GmbH has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent More information on key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302.

How can I pay for my booking?

Payment is done directly through the booking process via a verified SSL encryption. There you can pay directly with your credit card 3D secured (verified by VISA, MasterCard SecureCode). For this payment method you already need the new security standards of your online banking with security check.
In addition we offer PayPal as a form of payment.
As an alternative you can pay your reservation either by "Klarna Sofortueberweisung", „Giropay“ (both require an online banking account) or regular bank transfer (available for bookings made at least 8 days prior to arrival). For our Dutch guests, we also offer "iDeal“ payments.
For bookings made four weeks before the arrival date you will have to make a deposit worth 20% of the price. The final payment must be done 30 days prior to arrival. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions to know more about our Cancellation and payment procedure.

Where can I find the available hotels?

First, please select an offer. Enter the days you would like to travel in the search window. Confirm your search and you will see all currently available hotels. Please note that the prices and availability are made in real time and you only see the currently best price. If your search has stopped or you will look again to the same offer at a later point of time, the price may have changed already.

Where can I find more information about my hotel?

In every offer you will find a detailed description of each hotel. All offers include bed and breakfast. Please note, that environmental zones are valid since October 2008 in Germany and an environmental sticker may be needed for your car . In addition, some cities levy a culture tax payable at the local hotel.

What are the criteria used to classify hotels with Movie Park Holidays Suns?

The classification of our partner hotels reflects the self-assessment of the respective hotel based on the standards of the DEHOGA.

How does a booking act with children?

In some hotels, one child up to 11 years stays for free in the room of the parents. Otherwise, children are calculated in proportion. Baby cots for children up to 3 years are available at most of the hotel. You also can also bring your own cot. The price of admission for children to Movie Park Holidays depends on the respective ages of the children. Children up to 3 years are free of charge.

Is it possible to book for a group?

Please contact us for a group booking at info@movieparkholidays.de with your desired travel date and number of people.

Can I book a trip if I am a minor or are my minor children allowed to travel alone?

German Travel Law does not allow minors to book a trip. Minor children may not travel alone or check in at the hotel. At least one adult must accompany the trip and has to complete the booking with Movie Park Holidays in her or his name.

What happens after I booked my trip?

After a successful booking you will get the confirmation per e-mail. This notification will also appear when you end the booking process. You will find all the required information, your travel documents and the receipt on this internet page as a download link in PDF format. Your travel documents will be available after a full payment.

How do I get my travel documents?

We will provide you the required travel documents with the reservation number, hotel voucher and the online tickets directly after a full payment. These will be sent as a download link in PDF format to the registered e-mail address. Please print the hotel voucher, the receipt and the online tickets yourself.

I do not have Acrobat Reader on my computer and can´t open PDF files. What can I do?

You will find a link in your e-mail confirmation to a page where you can download the program. Acrobat Reader is free of charge. Just download and install the program, and then you will be able to open the file with your travel documents.

I have to rebook or cancel my trip. What should I do?

Booking changes or cancellations can´t be made online. For changes of any kind contact us per e-mail. Send an e-mail to info@movieparkholidays.de and include your reservation number, your name and the changes you would like to make. We will work on your request as soon as possible. The same works for cancellations or part cancellations. Please keep in mind that we can only attend to your e-mails during our opening times. For cancellation, please look up our terms and conditions.

Are option bookings possible?

Unfortunately we can´t offer any kind of option booking.

Does Movie Park Holidays also offer insurance benefit for the trip?

Yes, we offer an optional trip cancellation insurance. After your booking and deposite payment you can take out an insurance policy via the following link:

You also will receive this possibility in your confirmation. It is possible to take out the insurance policy within 7 days after your booking. When your arrival is in the next few days, please take out the insurance policy directly.

I already have tickets or vouchers. Can I combine them with a booking by Movie Park Holidays?

Movie Park Holidays only offers a hotel and ticket combination. A discount on the package price due to already purchased tickets is not possible.

How do I access to the hotel and the park?

Quite simple: After full payment, you will receive your confirmation per e-mail, where you will find different links, which you have to download. Please print the downloaded hotel voucher and the online tickets. With the printed tickets you can enter directly in the park through the turnstiles at the main gate. To check in at your hotel, please show your hotel voucher and your identity card / passport at the reception. Some of the hotels have limited arrival times. Please, check the hotel description or your hotel voucher for the exact check-in and check-out times.

What options do I have for getting there?

We offer packages for self arrival only. You can get from the hotel to the park by your own vehicle or by public transport. A shuttle service is not available.

I use a wheelchair, how can I book with you?

Do I need an emissions sticker for my car?

You do not need an emissions sticker to use the motorway (Autobahn) or the road between the motorway and the park. However, most of our hotels are situated in an environmental zone, where such a sticker is needed. If the hotel you want to book is located in an environmental zone, you will find this information in the description of the hotel.
